Hi everyone,

I don't understand why it is taking so long for us to get an interview in Ankara!!??!

Our case was completed July 2, 2012 and our interview has not been scheduled yet!!

Is it faster if we change the embassy to Armenia or Abu Dhabi or somewhere else, or should we wait to get an interview in Ankara?? Is anyone else going through this for Ankara for a CR-1 case??

Thanks in advance for your help! Im very nervous and upset! Our entire case has now taken 1 year for us to even get an INTERVIEW! :( :( :(

I was finalized on july 9th, and we are growing very impatient. I think this is the most ridiculous part of the entire process. The notion of waiting in a line for an appointment seems strange since appointments are suppose to circumvent waiting in line.

Moved from IR-1/CR-1 Process & Procedures to Europe & Eurasia regional forum; topic is specific to Turkey.

Is it faster if we change the embassy to Armenia or Abu Dhabi or somewhere else,

Unless the beneficiary moves to one of those countries you mention or "somewhere else," it will not be possible to change the location of the interview.

Did you call NVC. When NVC finalized your case, they will send you an email with your interview date.
