I did hear something on the news the other day in passing, that the Theory of Africa being the cradle of Human origins might be inaccurate. Don't remember the details .

I did hear something on the news the other day in passing, that the Theory of Africa being the cradle of Human origins might be inaccurate. Don't remember the details .

Unfortunately it's not my habit to focus on the topic in great detail, I just have read a number of stories over the last maybe 5 years or so which throws a wrench in the theory.

If I come across a story I will post it but I will let others who have more experience in this to speak with authority.

Yeah I saw that. I actually linked it a few posts down from the one you quoted. Not the same link but same deal. It doesn't change the out of Africa theory BUT it does hypothesize on some of the differences of the races. We know there are three different skull types. I guess I was dismissing different root origins but I guess that's not exactly a straight line. We're all still the same species though. Close enough for govt work one might say.

and in the long run, my guess would be that it is highly likely that their may have been several different spots where it started, about the same time..
