Change of address online

Hello everyone, my packet is just about ready and I will be sending it in on Monday the 30th, but I move to the house my wife and I bought on the 7th. Can I still send it in and then just use the change address online form to change our address when we move?

You should mail it using the new house address even if you have to go and check the mail everyday until you move in word of caution this is uscis you don't want a mix up that could cause you problems

Thank you both, I will ask the realtor to ask the lady of it will be okay with her if we use the address. Also, when filling out my address date, when would I put that I moved? Since I only move until the 7th but am sending earlier?

Chances are you won't be getting anything back within a week. This process moves much slower than that.

Just in case, you could go to the local post office on Monday and have them hold mail for you at the new address.

Thank you! I guess when I go send in the packet tonight or tomorrow morning, I will stop in and talk to the post office personnel. At least I just have to change the address on the form so it's not that much work. Thank you very much.
