The timing of your appointment is determined by the number of applicants ahead of you that also need a biometric appointment. We try to schedule biometric appointments as quickly as possible and in most cases you will receive your appointment notice within 30 days of submitting your application. We will send your appointment notice approximately 14 days ahead of your scheduled appointment. It is important that you keep this appointment. If absolutely necessary, you can request that your appointment be rescheduled however, please be aware that rescheduling may delay the processing of your application. Please follow the instructions on your appointment notice if you need to reschedule. Occasionally, you may receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints taken when you have filed a form other than those listed above. In these situations, you may receive your appointment notice more than 30 days after submitting your application or petition.

I have no problem in attending an interview coz I'd rather have interview and get my GC within 10 days after interview rather than transfer to CSC and wait months before approval...do you think they will send our interview letter soon???

That just looks like the standard receipt notice they send out which just means the application has been accepted and is now being reviewed. I just received the same thing a few days ago. It doesn't say anything about appearing for an interview. That should come later in the process.

I have no problem in attending an interview coz I'd rather have interview and get my GC within 10 days after interview rather than transfer to CSC and wait months before approval...do you think they will send our interview letter soon???

I would just call uscis and ask about the status of your petition and ask if you will receive a notification letter soon.

yeah sometimes its confusing about their updates and transfer....

I would just call uscis and ask about the status of your petition and ask if you will receive a notification letter soon.

I talked to agent and not that much help same thing with updates in my case status online and said they will send if they need anything from us...and seem there is no problem in our case...so all we have to do is to wait and Santa Ana timeline is 4 mos..wth??

Unfortunately, this is the update that those receive whose petitions do go to the CSC to be adjudicated.

Those who attend an interview at their local USCIS do not receive this notification.

I have received the same notice, way back when I started the whole process. Just means they started working on the file and nothing else. Standard notice for ppl filling I-130s especially w/ concurrent filling of i-485

No it does not mean you don;t have to have an interview. It just means your file went from Chicago to California (where you live), it was NYC in my case, that is all. Your interview will be in that branch.

No it does not mean you don;t have to have an interview. It just means your file went from Chicago to California (where you live), it was NYC in my case, that is all. Your interview will be in that branch.

The CSC to NBC is also standard. Don't worry so much about these small bureaucratic things, this is just the file moving around on desks. You're too stressed about these little moves and confusing yourself. Relax and wait for happy/good news

yeah you're right I am too stressed and frustrated that I cant have a job and can't drive:-(

Maybe I'll just patiently wait and look for the brighter side...maybe good news is on its way...
