is it true that for k1 and k2 the vaccines are not needed when you go to the juarez interview?

They typically refuse to give the vaccinations for those applying for a K-1 going through Juarez. If it is possible to get the required vaccinations at the time of the medical and get them marked off on the DS-3025, then do it. It is a hassle to find a civil surgeon in the US that won't insist on another medical exam that is not required. A lot of them like to insist on that and overcharge.

However, no, they are not required until AOS.

Hi!,

Yes it is true. You are not required to get them at the medical exam in Juarez.. I got my vaccinations in the US when I was filling for AOS . I did my Medical in Juarez last year, and the women sitting next to me told me they had to pay around $360 for vaccinations (most of them were k2 cases). I think it depends on the vaccinations you are missing, so maybe that price can change between individuals.

Here in the US I paid $180 vaccinations + $25 for the competition of the vaccination record for AOS purposes.
