does anyone know what cdj-439 is? They reference it in the medical exam instructions.

It's the vaccine list (http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/root/pdfs/packet_04_complete.pdf)

CDJ-439 AUG/2009

Do you need all those for a K-1?

No we DON'T NEED the vaccines since we are all doing K-1. I found some information on page 208 regarding this and I know Kitkat addresses this at the very beginning of this thread somewhere.

Chinman,

Your fiancee will need to get the HPV vaccine, so far from what I have read it is required for women under the age of 26. I am not sure of her age, but if she is older you don't have to worry about this. Check out page 171 look at user name Nm123 and Tglea on page 202 they both address this issue.

I hope this helps. We will not be getting vaccines done there even if the nurses are pushy.

Andrea

Good, then you should be OK, but you might want to research the topic just in case. You never know it's better to be prepared.

Andrea

Hey Guys,

This might be a stupid question but oh well. What are your SOs wearing to the interview?

oops I asked him and he said he is NOT wearing a guayabera, just a button down or a polo.

I hate seeing this thread so far down the list, but I understand we are all super busy and some are preparing for their Juarez trip.

Some of our customers, and some of our employees have recommended this company. Alejandra called them and it's roughly $60 USD from El Paso and like $20 from Juarez airports to the Holiday Inn Misiones.

Isi,

How do you like your new home so far?

Sandi,

We decided to take the bus that way we could leave Juarez as soon as we get the visa. I am leaving to Mexico on the 7th and we plan on going to Juarez on the 16th. I am driving down there to pick up the rest of my stuff, my SO and my dog. In March I moved down there with him so we could be together while I took a little break from school. I am hoping to get the green light from Juarez in October, but you never know. We decided to just take the bus because of the uncertainly and I have never traveled on one so I said what the heck I'll try it.

Although I have a feeling that if I don't like the bus then I will be returning to Queretaro by plane LOL...

Yes, I just realized I put the 7th with no month, sorry. My SO is from GTO, but lives in QRO now. After we started dating I decided to move from Texas to QRO so we could be together. I was on a break from school, so it was perfect timing.

I just have to say I LOVE this thread. Everyone is so supportive and HELPFUL here. I spent yesterday on the other threads and OFF TOPIC and people are horrible. Well one person in particular. I can't believe how racist people are, on VJ of all places. It's just sad to see when someone thinks they are better then an entire race. Ok, rant over!!!!
