hey everyone just need a quick clarification on this issue...last week i mailed in ds230 for my mom ...today i received an email saying that its missing PASSPORT POLICE CERTIFICATE. now when i sent in the ds230 i wrote NVC a letter stating PPC will be provided at the time of the interview. i called just few mins ago spoke to a rep @ nvc n she said 'dont worry about the email, your case is completed and waiting for interview date'. & i told her this email contains bar-code sheet and everything she said its just a standard format. so my question is, is my case done, OR did i just get a RFE.? please help

your case is indeed completed. This checklist email indicates that you did not submit PCC along with DS-230, so you must bring PCC at the time of your interview at US Embassy in India.

PM your NVC's email text if you are not sure. But I am pretty sure it's not RFE and your case is completed :dance:

Indian Police Clearance Certificates should be obtained as follows:

• All Indian IV applicants aged 16 and above, residing in India, should obtain police

certificates from the local Passport Office.

• Indian passport holders applying for visas outside India should obtain a statement from their

• Non-Indian IV applicants residing in India should obtain police certificates from the District

If you try to sign in the online payment portal.

Then your case is really completed.

Wrong! Payment portal has nothing to do with your case complete event. My case was complete on 6/29 and I can still login to their site.
