congratulations!

SO my packet was returned to me, I FORGOT TO SIGN THE DAMN THING! :(

resending it today =((

Hi mrsartis,

The RFE was issued for sending only affidavits and not sending a copy of the birth certificate as required for the I-130. No, there was no discrepancy. I just did not send it along with the I-130 package. I lost a copy of BC and I was waiting for a certified copy from the birth country. My mother I-130 was finally approved and she will be attending the interview at the consulate very soon. Good luck to you!

😁

Hi Rea,

Here is where i'm at, i just paid the $88 dollar fee for both. Waiting on it to say paid, i sent over email copies of the DS-3230 for both parents to sign. My question is can i send out the package below, before my parents send out the DS-3230? Should i wait to send the DS-3230 out first before i send the package below. The other question is i'm a student and i don't have income but my husband is supporting us, is that ok? Regarding the DS-230 when should i start helping them fill that form out? Will they send me a notification letter with instructions?

For Dad:

cover sheet

cover sheet with barcode

I-864

I-864A(my husband's)

6 months worth of pay stubs-husband's

employment letter-husband's

tax transcripts-2011,2010,2009

For mom:

cover sheet

I-864

I-864A(my husband's)

Angkorthom,

Everything looks fine and you can send the package only after the AOS status changes to PAID. You will need to download a cover page with barcode. However, if you do not want to delay things, I will suggest you to submit 2012 Tax Transcripts along with those for 2011 & 2010.

No problem... Do not wait too longer to send the DS-3032 (Choice of Agent). Once it's accepted by the NVC, you will receive the next step (IV Package). You won't move further until the DS-3032 is received and accepted. Some people have done email format of DS-3032.

I will have to wait until the 23rd of this month to receive the DS-3032 from my cousin traveling back from Cambodia. Once i receive it i will mail it overnight. The mail system over there is not good so we have to do a lot of things this way. Should i wait to send DS-3230 in first before i send out the I-864/I864A packet? I have the packet here prepared and ready to send out as soon as the status changes to "paid". Once again thanks a lot for your help this has been quite a journey for me and the community has been such a big help. I went to a place where they wanted to charge me $900 for each applicant, which is out of my reach.

Instead of waiting for a signed DS-3032, you should do the email format and send to the NVC. See the link below for a sample Email format of DS-3032:

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form

This process is a way quick for most people who has a problem with the mail system.

Wow, didn't know i could do it this way. So i would have to send 2 emails for each parent and from what email account? Should be from my parents email address? I'll try and follow the format and complete the email. I'll also send out the copies once i receive them as well. Email way requires no signature and is quicker. Thanks

DS-3032 Email format is always the quickest way to submit the choice of agent. I am not sure if you will need two (2) separate emails, unless each parent has a separate case numbers. Do not send the DS-3032 Email format from you email. It has to be sent from the beneficiary (parents) email. I know you can figure out how to get this done. My 64 yrs old mother does not know how to use the internet! So, my brother's email was used as beneficiary email account. This is how the DS-3032 was submitted to the NVC. Few days later, it was accepted.

Should be from the parents separate email accounts. Separate petitions so different case numbers.

So i went ahead and had my parents read and review the filled out template and sent two separate emails from their email accounts to the NVC. I paid the AOS fee of $88 for both parents and its still in process, but when checking my bank account they already took the $88 out of my account yesterday. Once the status is changed the "PAID" can i send out the I864/I864A package to them or do i have to wait for a response in regards to the DS-3230?

You don't need to wait for your AOS fee to appear as "paid." Go ahead and mail it. I sent mind as soon as I pay the fee. Don't forget to print a copy of your cover sheet.
