I was at the consulate today for my interview. The ENTIRE DAY. They told me I was approved. I was so excited, I left, however, it occurred to me 2 hours and a few hundred kms, that they didn't ask or get payment from me. YIPES!!!!

Now what do I do. The Montreal Consolate does not answer calls, only emails, and that takes 2 weeks.

Any information that you can share would be appreciated.

For anyone yet to go to their interview, no food or drink allowed, so make sure you have a BIG breakfast.

Hi Berley,

Are you sure you didn't pay when you signed up for courier service? I know that with the Montreal consulate, I had no other choice but to pay the $240 via credit card for my K-1 visa prior to me scheduling my appointment.

In the Philippines at least, the $240 visa interview fee INCLUDES the delivery now, they don't charge extra. Possible that this is the way in Canada too? Maybe someone else who interviewed there can verify if they had to pay courier fees, but maybe it's finally included everywhere now.

Thanks to both of you for your knowledge. I did pay the $240 fee up front, however, everything I was reading and doing said there was a $350 fee and that I had to bring it with me. From both of you, it sounds like there is only the $240 fee and not an additional $350 for the actual VISA.

There have been so many forms, and so many fees, I have lost count. Anyone know for sure who has completed the process?
