Hello VJ's

I read through the Guidelines of K1 visa that the approved applicant should bring the DS-157 and DS-156 form for Interview. my question is...does both parties Beneficiary and Petitioner have to complete the forms? If so does it need to be notarized? about the birth certificate of Petitioner does it need original or copy is fine? Just a few listed below of what I need to find out if copy or original is needed from Petitioner.

1. income tax or requested transcript

2. w2 form

3. birth certificate

4. divorce papers

5. bank statements

6. letter of intent

thank you so much in advance..

Get tax transcripts from the IRS so you do not need the W2s or 1099 or the complete tax return--less chance for an RFE with the tax transcript. Bank statements can be copies. A letter from the bank should be on letterhead with an origianl signature. Same for employment letter. Make copies and take both into interview and let them keep the copies.

The petitioner gives you the I-134 with an original signature and with all supporting documents. The rest is from the beneficiary and nothing has to be notoirized.

Good luck,

Dave
