Visit While K1 Pending: Any experience with this?

Hello all,

My fiancee and I are waiting for our NOA2. After it is received, we would both like for her to visit me here in the US on her tourist visa. Our plan is for her to visit for about two months, and then we will both return to Ukraine where she will have her medical and we will both attend her embassy interview.

To help with her entry here, I thought I would provide her with our NOA1 receipt and a letter, from me, stating our plans.

Has anyone done this? Will CBP consider a letter that I write if she presents it at POE?
