Hi guys,

Can you tell me how I will know when the consulate has sent out the package to my fiance. I know they have her paper work now from the NVC, but not sure how they will send it to her as mail service is not really organized well in Lima.

Will they send an email letting us know it has been sent?

thanks

Usually they mail the package info. You should call the embassy where the case was sent to.

Good luck

I'd give them a call, if possible. Things get lost in the mail. One thing to do would be to (assuming you know when petition arrived at consulate) allow say 10 days between pettion arrives and something showing up in the mail. Of course, you can always call earlier (again, if possible at all, some consulates allow it and some do not.

In Lima I'd think they would use a mail service and not just regular mail, perhaps others in Lima can tell how they got it.
