thanks. its just frustrating to me when I know what happened but everyone else says "ah but you werent found guilty but doesnt mean you are!" - it annoys me so much and is so wrong on many levels to say that especially when I have vigurously denied these things all the time and nor is it me to do such an act. :(

its like me saying to you... you are a peaodphile or a rapist or a drug smuggler.

On a personal note, make sure you are moving with the right person to US. I am a British citizen (asian) and entered into an arranged marriage. Though during the waiting time for K-1 processing I came to know her true colours. Due to tradition, family honor, pressure etc I stupidly went ahead resigning my high paid professional job, a happy life in UK and moving to USA. Now with 6-9 months wait time for green card approval, no job, a loveless marriage and a b***h for a wife my life is a living hell. So make sure you are making the right decision before moving to USA. The reality can be very harsh! Good luck.

just an update to all.

ive found a law firm in london who are American based and specialise in immigration to the US. I have arranged an appt with them for next week but need to be consultation fee (*sigh*) and also another guy that I know who ive arranged for an appointment for the next day - also fee based!

well at least im covering myself all angles.

speaking to the law firm today, she was saying I did the right thing in regards to getting a B1/B2 visa given my past as 99.9% of people apperently dont know the right thing to do and they end up trying to "fix it". so she was optimistic on that level. but anyway, that in no way relates to the US immigration scenario here.

fingers crossed, thats all im saying.

Jjust make sure you disclose all of it to your fiancee. I attended my fiance's interview and they sent him out of the room to ask me about my domestic charge and told me they were going to tell him. I told him go ahead because he already knew. Thank God I told him. Good luck.
