Request for Second Biometrics

Hi all, the maze starting from our I129F application has not really ended yet.

A week after I appeared for my biometrics, I received 2 identical letters requesting for a second biometrics, the reason being: The FBI was unable to process my fingerprint card.

This second notice I received was addressed to my maiden name in contrast to the first 3 letters (receipt, NOA1 and notice of transfer to CSC) which were all addressed to my married name.

And the lady who assisted me for my initial biometrics told me that the name in the card will be my maiden name. All forms I have submitted were all in my married name though. I have also attached our MC plus the document from the county showing that I will since use my husband's last name after the wedding. I prefer using it because my maiden name has always been something that I need to repeat or spelled when asked, uncommon that is.

Also this 2nd appointment did not list the application number MSCxxxxxxxxxx - just blank and the service center is now TSC. Again, comparing to my initial schedule it was complete with all application numbers plus the service center being MSC.

From MSC then TSC - it sounds really complicated now.

Another thing, I am reviewing all the letters received from them, including the envelopes that I never threw away. The first few letters came from National Benefits Center, MO and this recent one came from Texas Service Center.

Does anyone here have any case like I do? It is frustrating, remembering the long wait I had undergone in the NVC stage.

Please enlighten me if you had encountered this dilemma.
