i would like to ask if where can i actually get my passport copy notarize? i need to get it notarize for my W7... thanks in advance

Do not use a bank.

Go to USA embassy. Get a USA notary.

The IRS will reject if you use a local notary.

IRS want a USA notary. Believe me I know. They refused our W7 due to a local (indo) notary. USA embassy can notarize for you.

are you in the PI? I know when we were trying to get that done for my wife, the US embassy would not notarize a copy of the passport. You will need to go to the DFA to get it done. As far as a notarized copy of the passport, it is not needed if you have 2 of the other evidences that it shows on the W-7 form. Don't get caught up in the copy of the passport like we did. Even after going to the DFA, I don't know if we had what was required. I never sent the W-7 in for the ITIN.
