My brother has agreed to be my fiance's cosponsor. He makes enough money on his own to be our cosponsor, but he filed taxes jointly with his wife. I assume this will be ok, but I just wanted to check. Will he need to submit pay stubs to prove that he has enough income to sponsor my fiance? Will the joint tax return be a problem?

It is perfectly fine. He will provide his joint tax transcript and his W-2 to show his individual income. He will also provide a letter from his employer and recent pay stubs to prove his current income. Don't forget that he will also need to show proof of being a USC or LPR with a copy of his birth certificate, naturalization, copy of bio page from US passport or front and back copies of green card.
