Hi. I am having a question regarding to my case. I had an AOS interview yesterday, everything went smoothly except we didn't get an answer on the spot, The IO looked nice and polite, he took my I-94 and wrote something like "I-485 pending..." on my passport. At the end of the interview he said he couldn't make a decision now, and gave me a piece of white paper saying "Your case is being held for file review in order to prepare a decision You will be advised by mail as to a decision on your application...."

My question is: is this normal? it's good sign or bad sign? thank you for your help!

This is normal if they want or need a supervisor to review your application. It isn't good or bad -- it just means they want extra time.
