I'm positive active tb, can we file for adjustment of status after we get married or wait Til I completed the medication?

AOS:

08/05/12- mailed the I-485,I-765,I-131 to Chicago lockbox

08/13/12- received text/email the acceptance of the packet with the receipt number

08/17/12- NoA1 hardcopy received

08/31/12- biometrics appt.

How did you get through the Medical Exam at St. Luke's with active TB? You're here in the USA now? When did you discover that you have active TB? Please explain further.

10/17/2008 - First Contact via message in CB

03/15/2009 - Engaged

05/15/2009 - First meeting in person (I traveled to Philippines)

10/05/2010 - Sent I-129F package to Fiancee VISA service for review and forwarding

12/08/2011 - Interview - Approved!

12/20/2011 - VISA in hand! (Never showed up in 2go online tracking!)

01/04/2012 - POE San Francisco(SFO)I met her there.

01/05/2012 - We're Home!

02/14/2012 - Married Valentine's Day 2012!

05/04/2012 - Mailed AOS/EAD/AP packages via FedEx ground

07/26/2012 - EAD/AP Combo card received

Active TB can disqualify you from entering the US. You should discuss this with the physician that is currently treating you as to when you will no longer show a positve x-ray or sputum as these are the tests u will be subjected to during your medical. Also you need to discuss with your physician the possibility of spreading TB though airports and especially within the confines of an airplane.

Base your filing time upon the medical advice your receive. You should even be able file a few months before your completed treatment as u will finish your treatment while awaiting your NOA2/approval.

Apparently not always. From her timeline

US Entry : 2012-05-26

I really have no idea on why, maybe its actually dormant and not active which is why she was allowed to travel. No idea if it affect the AOS either. But if they allowed entry, not allowing AOS doesn't make sense. But since when did immigration ever have to make sense?
