Hello,

Can you please help me with 3 questions I have that's shown on the I-134 form:

1.) On the first page, there's a box that list, "Relationship to Sponsor". Why would it ask that if I'm the Sponsor/US Citizen Fiance? Am I suppose to put "Self" or "None"?

2.) On page 2, question number 10 states: "That I have submitted a visa petition(s) to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on behalf of the following persons(s). If none, state none." Then a section for me to add Name, Relationship and Date submitted. Am I suppose to list my Fiance's name or is that intended for a person other than my fiance?

3.) Question 11 wants me to indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions I will be making in behalf of my fiance. What am I suppose to say? He's going to be my husband and I will be supporting him until he get's Social Security Card and finds a job. That's common sense; What do I say? Excuse my ignorance, but what are they looking for? Thanks! :)

Please see the example form when you are not sure how to fill out a form. http://www.visajourney.com/examples/Form-I-134.pdf

Why would it ask the relation ? because its asking what your relation is. Your relation is not "self ", its asking the relationship of the person TO the sponsor. Please read the forms again carefully.

I know... Obviously I'm the Sponsor or else I wouldn't be filling at that particular form in the first place. So I couldn't understand the logic of that question being on the form. It's almost like filling out a form for applicants while asking what's the applicant's name when the applicant should be the one filling it out. But okay, I'll go over it again and look at the example form. Thank you.

I see what I did wrong. :bonk: On part 3 where it says, "That this affidavit is executed on behalf of the following person:", I put his name but the rest applied to him too, but I didn't catch that. Thank you for referring me to the sample for. :)

No problem, the forms are tricky sometimes, they don't use the best wording so it is good to have a read of them a few times.
