Hello everybody,

This is the beneficiary and I have my visa interview next week. I am gathering as much proof of relationship as I can. So far I got, 20some photos, her itineraries to Turkey, the scrapbook she made for me when I was in the army, facebook chat history (starting from march), letters corresponded, call history placed thru vonage and some e-mails.. These are the things I can think of as proof of relationship. Am I missing anything?

Thank you for your replies..

yes, when u go in, you will have to bring all your evidence to a lady in window which is very narrow, therefore try to pass papers a as much as you can. Also, be aware you will have to speak English, even though you request a Turkish translator. Good Luck

Hi, I have been to US Embassy Ankara once. I think I remember the 'narrow' place... I am just worried that the proof of relationship is not going to be enough... I got as much as I could.. I don't want to take them our all gchat and facebook chat history. That would be too much wouldn't it? Plus we have blizillion emails that were sent to each other. That's definitely gonna be too much...

Thank you for your advice though.. I'll interfile all the papers I have and pass it on real quick when I am entering the main building....

My fiance brought emails, engagment ring receipt, hotel receipts, emails, phone records, and pictures. He was given a 221G asking for proof of relationship. Hopefully what you bring will be enough. I don't know what happened in our case. We thought we had enough proof for the interview. He had his interview in Turkish. It is true that some people have their interviews in English.

Good luck and keep us updated!

Paz needs to give them a little big of everything at the window. Since the time your started your relationship to the last minute. Later on u will have more chance to give them if they need it.

In my husband interview they kept 600 pages between Facebook and Skype at least, and a scrapbook I made, they also kept a lot of our pictures. When the visa came they send all back.

During my last visa interviews I remember applicants having their interviews in Turkish. I mean it should be possible because I can imagine old Turkish people who want to go to the US for vacation. They must be having their interviews in Turkish. I also think it depends on the visa type...

My dear unless your girlfriend speaks Turkish, they will be asking you questions in English. if you don't satisfy the CO they might denied it the visa (K-1 TO CR-1 OR 2) the beneficiary is expected to understand common questions. I am telling you this because my husband wanted a translator but the CO told him he would like to answer some questions in English.

Also tolsab one of our members wrote a review about it. Read a couple of the entree
