Hi guys

So i am going to the swedish embassy next week, so i have some questions regarding getting denied/approved

What will happend if i get denied because of some papers arent translated? (i wasnt in the army, so i have the papers that telling me that i didnt need to go the army, but they refused to transfer it to english)

will they ask me to get it translated and send them in and everything will be ok?? OR will they deny me permanent?

This is what my husband did for his birth certificate -- you can do the same with the papers that are not translated -

Make sure you have the translated EXACTLY like the page you are translating. However I will tell you from experience because my husband did have military papers that they told him not to worry about it as there are translators at the embassy that can read norwegian. Just to be on the safe side go ahead and translate. Put this at the BOTTOM of the translated page (this was copied from a USCIS website)

I (your name), certify that I am fluent (conversant) in the English and Norwegian languages, and that the above document is an accurate translation of the document attached entitled (Birth Certificate or name of paper you are translating).

They won't deny you permanently. They might accept the Norwegian paper, or they might tell you to get it translated and that your visa will be issued once they get that paper translated.

The military record however is only required "if applicable." If you have never been in the military, I'm not sure that it would be a required document..

Thank you i got a bit nervous there for a while, i will give a detailed description how it went
