Has anyone here in VJ's encountered this,I filed an AOS for my son and this is what I got

My son is a derivative of my k1 visa and I am confused of this mail that they sent me after

I got last week the Notice Of Acceptance of AOS.

Request for Initial Evidence.

Submit evidence that an immigration visa petition has been filed on your behalf,

If you are not filing as a beneficiary of an immigrant visa petition submit documentation

in support of your eligibility to become a lawful permanent resident.

Your responses are really appreciated guys.

We just received the green cards. When we completed the AOS paperwork (which was very lengthy), we followed the guidelines in Visa Journey to the letter. Review the packet you sent. Hope you made copies of the packet you sent. Review the guide lines in this website and see if they differ in any way. Evidence for a K-2 is not too involved (Birth Certificates etc...). The K-1 getting approved brings about the K-2 approval. The K-2 does not get approved independently. Whatever happens to the K-1 also happens to the K-2. If I am wrong, somebody with K-1 and K-2 experience will respond. We just completed the AOS process for a K-1 and her three K-2s. Good luck in the rest of your journey!!!
