My husband's interview is coming up soon. i sent him every doc possible. i sent him mine and our co-sponsor's tax and employment verifications. i just have one question: i had to do a co-sponsor only b/c my 2011 income was a little bit lower than poverty line. but my 2010 income was good. couple months ago i got a new job and it pays well. but this new job isn't shown in my 2011 tax b/c i just got the job. should i send my husband my paystubs from my new job? will the embassy take that into consideration? (i still work my old job part time). will it be ok for my husband to show embassy both of my job's pay stubs?

I would absolutly send the pay stubs. While they are not 'necessary' (espeically with a cosponsor) our CO asked my husband "you still making $$$$? Got a recent pay stub to show me?"

So thankfully we had a recent one, but I'm sure we could have defended ourselves and said it wasn't necessary but why not have it just in case?

Good luck

See if your new employer (Congrats too!) will write a letter on company letterhead

with details like when you were hired, what your title and responsibilities are,

your current wage/salary ... stuff like that
