I didn't even know what VAWA was until this all happened. Now, after many long beer filled hours of research I know. Heck theres whole websites devoted to how to get in USA fraudulantly! This has GOT to end! I'm all for helping true victums of abuse. But to give a free green card to any foreign girl (or boy) who can dupe a gringo into marriage in order to get into paradise (?) using our tax dollars is screwed up! I've never been a republican, but about this issue I mite just become one. Repeal the VAWA loophole filled law!

Bill, with a few more hours of research, you will see that VAWA is an entire machine that operates outside of immigration also. It's a meat grinder that is so easy to get caught up in, with the vast majority of the billion+ budget geared toward helping one sex more than the other.

What ever you do, fight like hell, do not cop a plea -- you do not want that gem following you around for the rest of your life.
