updates after Biometrics to case

So how long did it take to update your cases after the biometrics was done? When did you see updates to your cases (both the EAD and AOS)?

I know, right? I think the office where I had my biometrics done was a pretty slow one. Didn't seem to be many people there, maybe that helped move things along.

This is I think your local office is packed.. The reason why your Biometrics was scheduled at a later date than other local field office When we take into consideration the time you filed your EAD vs the approval, it's in EADs normal average processing date.

This is true to mine. My EAD application date is end of April but have my biometrics on June 11 coz our local field office is busy whereas some of my colleagues here who filed EAD around first week of May got have their Biometrics ahead of mine

My point is that, taking the timeframe from biometrics appointment to approval is inaccurate due to different circumstances we have in each field office. I would think a more accurate average time frame be taken from the EAD Application to Approval

This is just my view and is also based on VJ timeline on

EAD.

PS: Of course, this is not taking into consideration for members that got a RFE as it could delay it

right. I note EAD is approved within "typically" 2 to 3 weeks from BIo date. (sometimes sooner) The hard part is lining up those with EAD and AP together. I am just trying to get a "feel" for the process after the Biometrics.

The AOs I figure is another 7 weeks to interview based on phoenix timelines.

Darren we got her EAD/AP card exactly 60 days after filling. They should be approved at the same time. Ours did anyways. Both EAD and AP are on the same card. With it she can go get her learners permit or drivers license or just a state ID.
