Hi all,

I really need help!

My fiancé approved the end of February and NVC sent to Consulate on March. Since then my fiancé waiting his interview package, we try to contact the Embassy through phone and email but no luck.

So, we should still wait? We are so worried because his petition will expired soon (it is only valid for four month).

How are you contacting the embassy? Phone? which phone number?

do you stil have your case number the one assigned to you at NOA1?

Try contacting USCIS and follow up with them they should give you some guidance.

I just looked up the stats on the Ethopian embassy.... does not look very consistant, some people got interviews after 4 months! thats a long time!

Welcome to the forum.

Did you get your case file number from NVC?

Contact the Department of State (DoS) at 1-202-663-1225, I think option 1, then option 0, will get you to a visa specialist at the DoS. Hopefully the folks there will be able to give you some current information on the status of your petition.
