URGENT HELP

I need urgent help. My fiance was denied visa because officer said he had a hit from ICE for 10 year ban. Well I made an appointment at my local ICE office to find out the problem. Well come to find out that another person with same last name was assigned the same Alien Number as my fiance who had been deported and have a 10 year ban, so ICE linked the both individuals together thinking its the same person using Another name. How stupid can these people be. Well anyway so the immigration officer gave me an appointment for next week, so he can change the records and fix the problem in the system. He said he can also provide me a letter for embassy admitting the mistake from their part. Now my question is that what can I do to get in touch with embassy and explain them the problem and ask to reopen the case since the problem will be fixed and this was the only reason for denial. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I would try emailing the embassy and explaining what happened and what you did to solve the problem. If no response in a day or two, I would call them and ask for the immigration department and explain to them that way. Good luck, sounds like everything will be ok once you get that letter from the ICE officer and send it to the Bangladesh embassy.

Thank u. I emailed the embassy but from my past experience they are not very good at responding to emails. I wonder if I call the American Center at the embassy and they can help.
