Our package is almost ready to go out! I read the guide on how to assemble all the paperwork, but didn't see anything about labeling our supporting evidence or using page numbers. The guide says to fasten everything with paper clips, which of course makes me nervous that something could fall out or get lost. Is it OK if I put my name/SSN on all pages of our supporting documents that don't already have them, and then number the pages? How should I do this?

Thanks in advance!

Hey.

According to the USCIS website, they prefer Acco fasteners, so the papers are all hole-punched at the top and held together with the fastener, so nothing falls out. As for the evidence and all the stuff you include, we put those little post-it note arrows along the bottoms with numbers written on them that corresponded to the number we listed them on our cover letter when we said 'enclosed in this package you will find....'

Hope that helps!

Amanda

Don't worry. Make sure all documents are in your package. I used 5 paper clips (3 on left side and 2 on top) to make sure they don't drop unless someone forcefully tries to take some documents out for a review. I prefer not to use stapler just a personal preference. You may document all attached documents in your cover letter as well.

Good luck!

I will have to agree with everyone else, NO Staples, the cover letter would keep things organized.
