Oh Yes they keep it because i also went to the interview since December 6th last year and i was told that,My Case is Awaiting Administrative Result and the CO said they will called me at anytime.They returned my passport to me with other proven documents likes Pictures,Call Logs and Chats but they kept other documents such as my Birth Certificate(Original and Copy),confirmed tickets,Police Report,Medicals and others.Thanks

To anyone who interviewed at Ghana embassy.... Do they keep the original birth certificate or give it back to you after the interview?

I had my then fiance get a few copies before moving here in case one is lost. Easier to get them while you are still in Ghana then in the USA. So get a few to be on the safe side...
