Yes, seems you have to take care of everyone's feeling. And you can't wear white and proud because it is racist and insulting, but it is great if you wear black and proud, have I understand that correctly?

And also Christmas has nothing to do with Christ anymore, correct?

Seems I have to learn many new things.

My mom married my step dad back in '69 and he's 1/2 Filipino. His dad was maybe 5' 5" tops and his mom was full blooded German and went 5' 10". They looked like the Odd Couple. My grandpa (my mom's dad), about had a heart attack though when they got married. It took him a few years to finally get over it.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

So do we still have to call them "minorities"?

Yes, because there are many of them. Taken together, they will be the majority in our lifetime. Each of the segments will still be a minority. On the upside, white folk will be a minority, too. So, we're all going to be minorities and thus, the classification of any group as a minority will no longer be relevant. At the end of the day, we're all just be Americans. Cool, ain't it?

Welfare here I come. And gimme some of that Affirmative Action, no interest small business loans, and free schooling while were at it.

I'm gonna git me a job working at the post office while my kids go to all white schools aka Grambling. B-)

Why is minority equal to welfare and post office jobs? There are minorities in this country that don't really care about either but rather are successful on their own.

Even better why is there any of those programs that I just mentioned? Answer me that. What do you think would happen if there were government funded white only universities like there are for blacks? Why can I get screwed out of a job because I'm white? Why can't I qualify for a no interest small business loan just because I'm a white male?

I hear you. That's why everyone should welcome this demographic development. Once we're all minorities, either all of these programs apply to everyone or none of them need to continue.

These programs should have never existed in the first place. They are racist programs that breed racism.

I think there was a place for them coming out of the 60's. In some ways these programs might have been mistaken for a free ride as opposed to a bridge over an opportunity gap that surely existed.
