wanted to know if there was a certain guide i needed to follow..do my documents need to be in one pdf file or can it be in 2 and does it have to be a certain size ?? thanks

I always combined everything into one file — figured it would be easier on them.

If you want to do the same, here are the instructions on a Mac:

or if you have Windows, you could use this free service that merges your PDFs.

My AOS submission was 2.2 MB and my Civil Docs was almost 6 MB. I'd guess that as long as it's not outrageously large you'd be OK. I'd see about reducing file sizes if you're over 10 MB.

7 Mar 2011 - Mailed the I-130 package

12 Nov 2011 - Became a U.S. resident (+250 days)

18 Sep 2017 - Sworn in as a U.S. citizen (+2137 days)

awesome thanks =)...also do i need to wait for Aos & iV bill to be paid before sending in my I-864?

Yep — they'll send you the AOS bill, you pay it, and then once it shows up "PAID" on their website, you can file the I-864.

Same deal for the IV — they'll send you the bill, you pay it, and once it shows PAID, you file for the IV.

7 Mar 2011 - Mailed the I-130 package
