Did you make your payment on line? If so, did you get the bar -code sheet? (there are more instructions)

Well, I do not have those details from you,

but anyway, I would suggest you to send an email to:

NVCINQUIRY <NVCINQUIRY@state.gov>

and explain your case, you will have something by written for your support.

Don't forget to include in your email:

USCIS Case No: (NOA Receipt Number): XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Petitioner's Name: XXXXXXXXXXXX

Petitioner's Date of Birth: XXXXXXXXXXXX

Beneficiary's Name: XXXXXXXXXXXX

Well, actually, I don't think they will delay a case based on that.

My advice is that you need to keep calling because the status of your case can change suddenly, and that will be a waste of time if you wait too long to call them.

I will tell you this for you to understand my point of view ...

We called on thrusday trying to get our case # they told us we should wait 6-8 weeks to get the case #

...and we call again the next day and we got our case number ... do you know what I mean?
