If denied...what happens?

Hello All,

Just a question I've been wondering. If for some reason at the interview one is denied, is there an appeal process? And if so, how would you go about it? Would lawyers be needed?

For me, I was wondering, cause my husband has a student visa, that does not end until 2014, so if he is denied, would he still be considered legal, or would he be considered illegal?

He asked me this question, and I did not know. And then I started thinking of an appeal process if for some reason we were denied.

Be prepared to answer on the wedding within less than 2 months after you two first met. Definitively a red flag in IO eyes. If denied, all his non-immigrant visa/ period of staying will be void and he has to appeal the decision or leave within 30 days.

Not necessarily. I married my husband within a month or so of meeting. Muslims are not supposed to date so you will find the majority tend to get married quickly.

@Saudi Wife---If they asked about the swiftness of marriage then just let them know about the no dating in Islam.

Is he intending to ask permission to marry you for Saudi? You wont be able to go to Saudi with him on your US certificate and he is probably aware that if they do discover he got married that he will lose his sponsorship for his student visa. Try to find others in your situation as I believe yours is a very specific one.
