MOm's N400 with NO English

Hello All got a question my mom came to the states in '94 (greencard) she still lives in the states i wanted to file her n400 but the problem is that she has no knowledge abt the US and the English language is there a way i can apply her n400 n she can skip the test? she is 61 years old been in the states for 18 years

From the Form N-400 Instructions:

"If you are over 50 years of age and have lived in the US as a lawful permanent resident for periods totaling at least 20 years, or if you are over 55 years of age and have lived in the US as a lawful permanent resisdent for periods totaling at least 15 years, you do not have to take the English test, but you do have to take the civics test in the language of you choice."

Looks like your mom will get the English waiver.

If I were you, I would search the USCIS site to see if they have Civics Test preparation material availible in her language. Or start working with her based on the English version.
