Hi there

I just got NOA2 today but when I sent NOA1 I was in studying in Japan. I just graduated in March and moved back to Thailand.

Now my problem is I'm afraid that NVC will assigns me the case number that is not start with BKK which is Bangkok embassy and I'm afraid that I will have to go for the interview in Japan.

Since I was there during the time that I sent NOA1.

What should I do? Call NVC to let them know right now or what? Should I call them now because I just got my NOA2?

Thank you in advance! :)

Call NVC and update them, ask for this change. If you wait till the embassy has it and ask at that time you could face a 2 month delay.

Do as Inky suggests as well as contacting the duty officer at the American consulate in BKK. Ask them to help you with the case transfer and to notify you of the status. Give them the case number and any other info you have to assist them.

Thank you guys!!! I really appreciate it!

Is it ok for me to call them today? I'm just afraid that my case from USCIS will not be forward to NVC yet.

Any suggestion?
