I-130 / I-485 Filing Question

I have all the forms filled out ready to send in and need to check something.

Am I right in saying the I-130 along with the G325A are to be put in one envelope and the I-485 along with the I-131, I-864, I-765 are to put in a seperate envelope and then both of these envelopes placed in a larger 'packet' and all sent to the following address:???

P.O. Box 805887

Chicago, IL 60680-4120

Am i supposed to separate each form with anything other than a cover letter?

Please advise!

No...you aren't right in saying that. ;)

They don't go in seperate envelopes.

One packet and make sure if you are mailing express or courier that you use this address:

USCIS

Attn: FBAS

131 South Dearborn-3rd Floor

Chicago, IL 60603-5517

You don't need to do anything special to seperate things but paper clips may be helpful.

They basically will be ripping your application apart and reorganizing everything themselves.

He is not wrong saying that either.. that is exactly how we did it. I-485 package in one folder/envelope, I-130 package in another folder/envelope, and both of these in one big envelope, all going together to the same place.

03/11/2011 - Day 8 - NOA 1 received for all 4 forms

03/21/2011 - Day 18 - Biometrics letter received, biometrics scheduled for 04/14/2011

03/31/2011 - Day 28 - Successful walk-in biometrics done

05/12/2011 - Day 70 - EAD Arrived, issued on 05/02

06/14/2011 - Day 103 - E-mail notice: Interview letter mailed, interview scheduled for July 20th

07/20/2011 - Day 139 - Interview at Federal Plaza USCIS location

07/22/2011 - Day 141 - E-mail approval notice received (Card production)

The "are to be", indicates a supposed requirement, which it isn't.
