Do you mean the DS-230 immigrant visa application?

Attach an additional sheet of paper and on the form, write "see attachment." On the additional sheet of paper, write "Supplement to DS-230 for <your name>, Question: <insert question here>" Make sure you write out the question exactly how it reads on the form, and that you provide all information asked for on the form.

The data from many of the forms has to be transfered into computer files. The computer file do not have any more room for data then what is provided on the form. If your data does not fit then use the supplement page as described above.

Even simple things like an address. If your street name of city name is to long to fit correctly then use the supplement page to list it correctly and completely.
