Hi everybody!

My name is Jonathan. I'm a US Citizen. My wife's 10 year green card just got approved on April 13, 2011. We have a 7 month old baby. Since then, we've been affected with hard economic times and we're not doing well economicly. I'm under employed with a part time job and it's the best I cand do for now. My wife doesn't work, she takes care of a baby. So my question is, if we apply for cash assistance, will it affect the process of her Naturalization as she will apply in this October?

Please help.....

Thank you very much.

You and the child are USC's and are able to get assistance. Your wife isn't. So you may apply for the two of you and it will have no affect. Just make sure you don't apply for a three person household.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
