What constitutes 'change of career'?

Hi Guys - I have my GC and now I'm wondering what constitutes a change of career? So, if I decide to move into a new job, how similar does it have to be? Does it have to be the same/similar job in the same field, or can I do the same/similar job in a different field (i.e. move from project management in construction to project management in healthcare) or stay in the same field but do a different job? Any ideas? Also, does a career / field change impact anything other than naturalization down the road??

P.S. I have been in the US for 9 years and in my current GC job for 2 years.

Your job has no bearing on your GC. You no longer have any restrictions on your job. H1B is over.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Green Card? As in Legal Permanent Residence? You can accept whatever job you want. It doesn't affect naturalization.
