Hey friends from VJ im so sad today is 3 weeks from the day me and my fiance were approved and he still does not have his passaport im extremly sad i have called so many places and noone knows what to tell me. i have called the actual embassy in dominican republic and they made 2 reports for me and still nothing i really dont know what to think, do or anything i have postponded the wedding 2 times and now its on stand by everyday with no answer is just horrible and hes been to the consul window 2 times they told him that they had no answer idk how a place can be so irrisponsible but if anyone has any ideas or any reason for why this is happing please help I would love it thank you guys! you are all so nice <3 (L):help::crying::ranting:

Why are you typing in such a large font? Do you think we are all blind and can't read regular sized fonts? Stop it. Use a regular size font.

All immigrants are advised to make no plans before getting a visa in hand. Don't make wedding plans without a visa. The US Embassy does not care if you have to reschedule your wedding because you have already been advised not to make any plans.

You and your fiancee are doing everything you can by contacting the US Embassy. Just be patience.

Have they by any chance told you that you guys have been placed in AP (Administrative Processing)?? This is the only reason I can think of for why its taking so long... Are you positive you guys were approved?

I'm sorry, I can only imagine how you must be feeling. I hope this is resolved soon. Keep calling the embassy and everyone else you can for answers.

06/05/2012 - Green card arrived
06/15/2012- Back to SS office with green card to reapply and inquire about delay
06/18/2012 - Picked up SSN at SSA office
06/22/2012 - SS card arrived by mail

04/24/14 - Sent I-751 to remove conditions

06/09/14 - Biometrics

11/2014 - RFE from USCIS requesting more evidence before approval

Late Jan - Sent further evidence of marriage

03/05/2015 - Got letter of approval for removal of conditions

03/15/2015 - Permanent 10 yr green card received via mail

Yea they said everything is fine and thats its approved but they still have not sent it
