You don't "have" to, but doing that might help to prove to the consulate that your relationship is real. You know that it is , but you have to do everything you can to prove it to them. If you can afford it and get the time off, I would say, go for it.

February 9, 2016 - NOA1

March 1, 2016 - Biometrics Appt

March 29, 2016 - In Line for interview

April 1, 2016 - Interview Scheduled

April 4, 2016 - Interview letter received in the mail

May 10, 2016 - Interview Day! (Approved)

June 8, 2016 - Oath Ceremony

I agree with the comments of my fellow October 2011 K-1 filer. Check our profile signatures to show how we have chosen to respond to this issue. You mention other appropriate methods to prove to the CO of an ongoing relationship.

Well I will be making my 6th visit in 6 years and this will be my second visit within 2 years. I work for a great company and was able to get time off on short notice. So I guess i will hand carry all the original documents she will need and show here how to fill out the forms she will need to fill out.

It looks as though we should be getting our NAO2 either in August or Septmber.

It will be nice to see her in person again.........
