Hello!

So our package was sent in last week and we are waiting for NOA1. In the mean time I have been worrying of course..

I live in Van, and its cheaper to fly from Seattle then it is from Vancouver. So I usually drive to SEATAC, park and fly from there whenever I go visit my Fiancee. That way the flights aren't as much and I can go more often!

As proof of having met we included luggage tags from almost all of my trips ( I don't have boarding passes from SW airlines), boarding passes from flights to see him or where we fly together to see his family. Airline itinerary, parking receipts in Seattle, and he had a few boarding passes and one passport stamp. Along with a few other side receipts. And of course secondary pictures.

BUT all of the trips are from Seattle not YVR. Do you think this will be a problem? In our letter of explanation we explained that I drive down from Van and fly from Seattle. Hopefully its fine!

Any opinions or experiences would be appreciated :)

Don't even worry about it! I always drove to the airport in Buffalo, NY and flew from Buffalo to Denver. Quicker and much cheaper than driving up to Toronto. Its really common among those of us who live/lived so close to the US border. You provided tons of evidence and an explanation, I don't anticipate any issues.

I agree with Hugglebuggles. I always drove to Detroit and flew out from there to Atlanta and he always flew to Detroit and then I would pick him up at the airport and drive us back to Canada during my K-1 process. The thing is you have plenty of proof that you were in the same place at the same time so there is no reason for USCIS to doubt that you have met. You'll be fine. Good luck! :)

We used to fly from Orlando to Buffalo and then just drive across the border because that was cheaper. You should be fine!

you will be fine i lived in toronto and we always flew out of Buffalo and never had a issue they didn't even ask!
