Im, really Sad and Worried About that Ap, I have Interview on 19 Dec 2011. IR1 , Since we been Married More then 4 Years, My Interview Was with Co Officer First Step for 50 Mins I guess, Them CO. Were Telling me to wait They Are Checking My Marriage Video, There s 2 More Pakistani Co ask me Come with them and Take me to Room , Asking me About 100 question My second Step Interview Was them for Almost 1 hour 2 , When They Done Them were calling for wait , Just Trying to Expline in Smiple way there s alot of more Happen in Embassy, The Black Co come and Give me Green Slep and Telling me that When my case is Complate they will give call me to Pick up My passport from Speed X. But Black Co told me that There is No limit Time when This Ap will be done , But we got so sad and Even Crying coz I know This is really Worse Things Happen in our life , They Took All the orginl Docments with Passport, Now My passport will be Experience , Dec 2012 and I sent 2 Email To Embassy , they didnt Replay me Back and Not Even Pick up the Phone When I trying to call there`s Evil Pakistani Co on Phone Didnt even Answer of Salam , Just trying to Hurts People ... Dos people really nice to answer of phone and telling if the case still in ap... Anways... My wife have Surgery in Few Weeks I don`t know what to do Should I expline that in Another Email for Embassy or what to do I need help Guys I pray to Allah for who are in This Horrible Processs and please Pray for me Guys Thank u I really need help what to do ?(((((

usually process for Pakistani male takes more time, they need to do some background check.

I am assuming here that your wife is US citizen and sponsoring you. Just send copies of medical papers along with your copy of green slip with a letter about your case. I am sure that you can't send any attachment with email to them, it will get deleted.

Just keep the good hope, every thing will be all right.

My Suggestions to you is just show up at Embassy. You should be able to go inside and just explain your situation. They might consider your request and expedite your process if you talk to them face to face.

Have your wife contact her congressman or senators office to make an inquiry.. thats really all they can do but we are also experiencing the same thing... they did give us back all our originals and kept his passport.... we are just like you.. all we want is to be together and we never minded the checks but it seems to just linger for this embassy....

Also if your wife contacts the senator/congressman and tells them about her upcoming surgery maybe they can make some inquiry about whether or not they received that information

They won't allow that... unfortunately... they will only allow USC to walk in during specific times

you should be hearing from them after june 19th 2012. It will take six month at least for Ap to go through. My father in law interview in oct 2011, and they finish his ap in end of april, exactly six month. Same thing happen for my wife back in 2007. it took 6 months for ap. So be strong and inshaal it will be over soon.

I also heard that, is that true that male applicant takes longer processing time than female one from Pakistan?

There is absolutely no guarantee that AP will be over in June. While it is true that in most cases, AP is finished in about 6 months, there's no guarantee and no limit to how long it can actually take. EAbbas for example, has been waiting for 10 months and still nothing.

My prayers are with all of you in AP, hopefully you will all get your visas very soon InshaAllah.

There is absolutely no guarantee that AP will be over in June. While it is true that in most cases, AP is finished in about 6 months, there's no guarantee and no limit to how long it can actually take. EAbbas for example, has been waiting for 10 months and still nothing.

I was going to say the same thing.. there are no guarantees in this process the only one is that you will have an interview beyond that nobody knows and nobody can possibly guess and to give false hopes can be so devestating when that time comes and goes......Being supportive and encouraging is different... we all need that and it helps when we have it during a long AP or anything from this process....

My husband and I have a solid strong marriage with loads of family approval and our case was fine the CO even told us our case is fine we have absolutely nothing to worry about but he has to go thru name checks and then the visa can be issued... all we can do is pray for the best and hope for the best Allah is always with us! Inshallah this whole process will be over soon!

Why they give us such hard time I just dont get it ..... just issue the damn visa after long suck processs
