:help:

Hi everyone,

My nightmare to get a Police Certificate from Brazil has started a week ago.. but anyway,I can do it :) So, my sister has the power of attorney to get them for me, she did get one already - BUT, in their system, my address from Canada is NOT acceptable, so they did all the search based on my information in Brazil, including my address there and stuff.

Do you think that is how it makes sense for the consulate? Does the officer will see me as a temporally resident here in Canada and according to him/her my home is still in my home country? Im not PR here!

I am just trying to understand and figure this out, because is very expensive to send docs back and forth plus using people's time.

Any input is welcome!

Thanks

Cam & Ellie

Yes, that makes sense. Your brazil police certificate will cover your addresses in Brazil and then you'll need a police certificate from Canada covering you for your Canadian address. Do you have that?

Removing Conditions

Sent package to VSC - 8/12/11

NOA1 - 8/16/11

Biometrics - 9/14/11

That seems correct. As sapphire dreams said, they're doing a check for when you lived inside Brazil, so using your address there makes sense.

Since you've already sent evidence that you're legally residing in Canada with P3 I'm sure you're fine. Just bring extra copies on the day of your interview and be 100% truthful about your status in Canada.
