Biometrics

I sent my n-400 application March 30. The other day I received a letter to do biometrics May 7.

I thought if you had fingerprints done recently they didn't have to be redone. I had biometrics done last year in March and then again in August (it took them 5 months to tell me that the first set were no good).

Why are they making me redo my fingerprints when it hasn't even been 8 months yet?

I was really hoping to avoid the biometrics because of the 5 month delay that happened last year when I filed for remove conditions.

Really no clear answer to this. Sometimes they redo it, sometimes they do not. So you just need to follow the appointment and have it done. I think there is no way you can convince them not to do it again.

I think they do it because they want to make sure the name and fingerprints match what they have on file. There are plenty of cases of fraud and we all pay the price for that.

I didnt even think it up to that part
