You're currently doing the AOS process to become a Permanent Resident, which means you are at least 3 years away from US citizenship.. So until then, you are a Canadian citizen and a Canadian citizen Only. Once you get US citizenship, if that is the route you wish to take, you can maintain your Canadian citizenship as well. I am assuming you have the option to relinquish your Canadian citizenship and passport if you become a US citizen, but I can't really think of a reason why you would do that, since you do not have to.

07/22/2011 - Day 141 - E-mail approval notice received (Card production)

07/27/2011 - Day 146 - 2nd Card Production Email received

07/28/2011 - Day 147 - Post-Decision Activity Email from USCIS

You will not be eligible for US citizenship for three more years. You are only a green card holder, not a citizen. You have to keep your Canadian passport current. After that, you can legally hold dual citizenship and have passports for both the US and Canada.
