I'm sitting here reading Salin's guideline and note that she refers to transit and account numbers for methods of payment. Can you not use a credit card to pay the AOS and IV payments. That would work better for me and I am concerned that using a Canadian Bank account would slow down the processing of these payments.

First off, *Saylin :P

And no, unfortunately, credit cards aren't a valid method of payment. To pay online, you have to use a US bank account.

Online payment info here: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3906.html

Alternative (snail mail) methods of payment: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3905.html [not recommended as it takes considerably longer]

Thanks Saylin. Sorry for mis-spelling your name earlier.

Looks like our process is heating up. Just trying to make sure our ducks are in a row.

Don't worry about it ;)

And if you have any other questions about NVC (or anything else), I'd be glad to help you :)
