Anyone here who got their NVC case no. on a weekend? thanks! :-)

The NVC is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, but you probably already knew that. Now that the AVR no longer works the only way i'm aware of that you can find out your NVC case number is to call and speak to an NVC operator. I have heard of cases where people receive emails from the NVC on a Saturday morning, but that is for work completed the previous day.

When you are in the NVC phase you start to wish away the weekends because they mean no progress is being made on your case.

Timeline

Anyone here who got their NVC case no. on a weekend? thanks! :-)

Just looked at your timeline, WOW! I thought I had to wait a long time between NOA1 and NOA2. I've noticed that there were a few other August 2011 filers that waited a ridiculous amount of time to get their NOA2 approved. Fortunately the NVC process moves much faster and once you get your case number you can fly through the process if you have everything ready to go. Hopefully you already have everything ready for your AOS and IV packets.

That is a rediculously long time to wait for NOA2 especially since you did not have RFE....I would have been freaking out.

I was hoping I'd get my case no. on a weekend since it's an AVR and that it would work even on weekends. But I forgot it's still human who's working behind it. :-) haha. Was just a wishful thinking. :-)

Yeah, there were quite a few of us in August who waited a little longer for NOA2. But am glad I finally got it. Yup, all documents for NVC and interview are all set now. Thanks guys! :-)

I know. But as I was saying before I got my NOA2, I'd rather wait a little longer for NOA2 than get an RFE. Well, wish granted. :-)
