entirely depends on where you are having your interview/ oath. Some few places do same day oath ceremonies, most have a 6-8 week wait, but it can be less (mine was 9 days), or much more (esp in large places like New York and LA). Have a look through the monthly filers threads in this forum for people who filed in recent months in the same office you did for info.

Go to the US Citizenship forum, the forum you posted this in: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/114-us-citizenship-general-discussion/

Then look for threads with a title of "N-400 NOVEMBER 2011 FILERS" or similar; there is one for every month. Scroll to the last page and look at the table, seeing if there is anyone who filed in the same office than you did.

Your profile says your local office is New York, so in the thread mentioned above you will see there is one member who filed the N-400 in November 2011, will have their interview on 17th April, but no oaths yet. Looking at the August 2011 filers, there are 5 from New York, two haven't updated but the other three had their interview in early to mid February and oath in late February/ March, so it looks like they waited 2-3 weeks between interview and oath.
