Awaiting for NVC interview ? Plz help.

Hello Everyone.

I have been awaiting since a year. I have been checking the visa bulletin as well, but if I estimate according to that it will be a year more to go. But in majority cases, its not right. Everyone says it will be eariler but when?

I called the NVC and they say, my case is completed. However, the file has to be transfered to Mumbai Consulate from US consulate. How long is that going to take ??

Also, please can anyone tell me what a cut-off date is ? And why is the year 1988 ???

Lol. Thats what I wrote above... visa bulletin is not always right. Does ANYBODY know how much more time this will take ?

Our case has been completed like 1 year ago & we are JUST WAITING since then. And Does ANYONE know what CUT OFF DATE MEANS ??
